About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and qualifying high-quality B2B leads. This position requires a strong ability to prospect, engage, and nurture leads while building opportunities that align with The Company's innovative SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team to shape and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify, research, and engage potential leads using outbound techniques such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Lead Qualification: Assess inbound and outbound leads based on company fit, business need, and engagement readiness using frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC.
- Relationship Building: Engage with decision-makers and influencers to communicate the value of solutions effectively.
- Pipeline Development: Consistently maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure steady growth in qualified opportunities.
- Market Research: Continuously analyze target industries and prospect needs to tailor outreach strategies.
- CRM Management: Document all sales activities, interactions, and pipeline updates in CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Sales Enablement: Utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email automation platforms to enhance prospecting efficiency.
- High-Volume Outreach: Conduct consistent, personalized outreach via phone, email, and social channels to generate interest.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology-related industries, with a focus on prospecting and lead generation.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability in solution selling, handling objections, negotiating, and navigating sales cycles.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas, supported by recent performance data.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in social media, digital marketing, or SaaS industries.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales, or MEDDIC.
- Knowledge of customer engagement or reputation management software.
