The Role 

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer is instrumental in elevating the group’s security posture through proactive analysis and the mitigation of cyber security threats and risks. This position plays a pivotal role in implementing security measures and embedding security processes through collaboration across IT and business.

Experience

• Relevant degree or diploma in Cyber Security.
• Advanced studies are advantageous (CISSP, OSCP, CISM or Linux).
• Continuous pursuit of security risk identification and mitigation.
• Demonstrable IT technical skills, particularly with security tools and applications.
• Understanding of scripting and coding is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and a proactive stance in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Experience in security analysis and risk management, showcasing strategic decision-making.
• Excellent analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, essential for conveying complex security concepts.
