The Role
- Coordinate the successful delivery of projects both internally and for clients
- Responsible for running projects which have an impact on the entire department and potentially other departments across the company.
- Meeting with top management to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
- Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams, and revising based on changing needs and requirements.
- Planning and gaining approval on change requests and/or projects including the securing of necessary resources.
- Managing potential risks on the project.
- Oversee and hold all service departments and employees within these teams accountable for carrying out the tasks involved in progressing the project to completion within time and budget.
- Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members.
- Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.
Experience
- 5 years of relevant experience in Project Coordination/Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Project Management Diploma, preferably PMP.
- The use of Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential.
- Excellent planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organisational skills, able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently.
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- High level of computer competence, with a knowledge of standard software packages (MS Office).
